Ms Vicki employs a sophisticated geometric and pattern based approach, where the figures are composed entirely of various textures and designs rather than realistic anatomical details. The figure on the left features flowing, wave-like patterns that suggest hair or fabric, with areas of crosshatching, stripes, and geometric shapes. The right figure is constructed from a patchwork of different patterns including brick-like textures, diagonal stripes, crosshatching, and various geometric forms. Different pencil techniques create varied tonal values and textures, from deep blacks to light grays, creating visual interest and depth. Medium: Pencil on paper. Dimensions: 11" X 14".
