This polished specimen comes from the High Atlas mine in Morocco. The nodule features needle sprays, banding, and vugs left behind from mineral inclusions. The agate is translucent, dark orange, shades of white to gray and hints of magenta. 4.5" x 3.5" x 3.5" 3lb 9oz Moroccan Agates come in a wide variety of colors and patterns, and can be found in locations all across Morocco. It is known for its brilliant colors and intriguing patterns, it makes superb cabochons and takes an exceptional polish. The great variety makes it an excellent addition to any collection.
