MPI MPI-QR-RX-06-WB-22P Quick Release

MPI-QR-RX-06-WB-22P: The Ultimate Quick-Release Solution The MPI-QR-RX-06-WB-22P redefines quick-release technology, offering PATENTED DESIGN unmatched durability, precision, and performance. Designed for PROTOTYPE, GT, and SEDAN applications, this cutting-edge system features a 6x70mm M5 bolt pattern with a weld/bolt-on spline as featured in the RX03 .Created using the same core design of the RX03 used in the majority of Indycar. This versatile mounting system ensures compatibility with a wide range of high-performance motorsport setups. At its core, the RX06-22P features an innovative three-dowel pin locking mechanism, surpassing industry standards for superior reliability and stability. The self-centering, push-on, one-position mechanism, equipped with a six-faced, spline-less pin design, eliminates the need to pull a collar for engagement. This ensures one-directional, push-on steering wheel alignment, allowing for quick and hassle-free driver changes during high-pressure moments. The RX06-22P guarantees a firm, zero-play connection, delivering a secure and smooth steering wheel attachment with free disengagement and virtually no play. An orange visual marker provides immediate confirmation of proper engagement for both drivers and crew, enhancing safety during critical moments. Weighing just 199 grams, the ultra-lightweight Featherlite body optimizes performance without compromising strength. Designed to overcome common issues found in competitor systems, the RX06-22P eliminates seize-up challenges typical of other quick releases and offers greater longevity with significantly less free play compared to other  systems. For seamless electronic integration, the RX06-22P includes a custom 22-pin electronic connector developed in collaboration with TE Connectors. This bespoke design features keyed alignment for error-free installation, set-screws for enhanced stability, and micro-movement o-rings for precise pin alignment. Utilizing standard Deutsch Autosport pins and sockets for broad compatibility, the connector fits entirely within the spline and body, removing the need for spacers or recesses. The self-aligning mechanism ensures flawless connection, reducing the risk of misalignment or damage and making electronic connector installation fast and mistake-free. The RX06-22P advanced design incorporates four distinct engagement points: Spline tip into body base for foundational stability. Three dowel pins into ramp faces for enhanced locking. Spline base and body mouth for added security. Spline tabs and notches for precise alignment. These features achieve near-zero play without the risk of seizing, while the tapered column spline-less pin ensures smooth engagement and release, making steering wheel removal during endurance driver changes efficient and error-free. Tested and approved to SFI standards, the RX06-22P meets the highest safety requirements for professional motorsports. With its robust construction, innovative features, versatile mounting options, and proven performance, the MPI-QR-RX-06-WB-22P is the ultimate choice for the most demanding motorsport applications.
