Doves

I love the sound that mourning doves make, and the lovely grays and mauves their feathers are. The Details: Each one of these whimsical pins and earrings are hand-painted by me, Robin Senour, so there are no two alike. For me, art is communication. I created this little work of art, but the conversation between artist and viewer is complete when someone owns it. The clear material I chose to paint on is durable and easy to bend to my will. I have my very own laser that gives me the freedom to create any shape that I can think of. I love color. Finding wonderful color combinations drives me from one piece to the next. I paint them until they say, “I’m done!”  The lucite I paint on is super lightweight and will not pull on the ear, so be sure to wear the rubber wire keepers that come with each pair. The earwires are niobium and safer for your ears than gold and silver. I can also replace them with a clip sort, just let me know.
