Mount Olympus - Notecards

Some places described in ancient mythology still occupy an honored place in contemporary literature, fan fiction, and historical speculation. The Greek kingdom of the gods, Mount Olympus, is one such place. The site of Zeus’s throne, Olympus, was described in Homer’s Iliad as an ancient acropolis, a fortified hilltop and palace complex, located just below the peaks of Mount Olympus.
