Motorola PMLN6765A Tactical Interface Module

Motorola PMLN6765A Tactical Interface Module High-Performance DSP PTT/VOX Audio Interface The Motorola PMLN6765A is a mission-critical tactical interface module designed for elite operators requiring flawless audio execution in high-noise environments. This advanced module serves as the primary gateway between your radio and a suite of specialized bone conduction headsets. Equipped with a high-speed Digital Signal Processor (DSP), the Motorola PMLN6765A is engineered to distinguish the human voice from intense ambient noise, enabling reliable voice-activated (VOX) communication without the risk of accidental microphone triggers from the surrounding environment. The Motorola PMLN6765A is the updated version of the Motorola PMLN6765. Built for tactical durability, the Motorola PMLN6765A features a direct-to-radio GCAI connection and an integrated in-line Push-to-Talk (PTT) for manual overrides. The module’s DSP technology provides a significant advantage during covert or high-stakes maneuvers, allowing for hands-free operation in "hot-mic" scenarios where situational awareness is paramount. This robust interface is optimized for the APX and MOTOTRBO series, ensuring that bone conduction devices deliver clear, intelligible audio through the radio's digital signal path. Key Features & Benefits Advanced Digital Signal Processing (DSP): High-speed DSP specifically detects human vocal frequencies to prevent ambient noise from activating the microphone. Dual Operation Modes: Supports both standard Push-to-Talk (PTT) and Voice-Activated (VOX) modes for maximum operational flexibility. In-Line PTT Button: Features a large, tactile in-line PTT for easy access and reliable manual transmission even when wearing heavy gloves. Bone Conduction Support: Designed as the specialized interface for bone conduction headsets, allowing for clear audio via vibrations rather than standard speakers. Direct GCAI Connection: Plugs directly into the radio's accessory port for a secure, low-latency connection without additional adapters. Rugged Tactical Build: Engineered to withstand the mechanical shocks and environmental stresses common in tactical and public safety deployments. No. The PMLN6765A is a specialized tactical interface designed specifically for Motorola bone conduction and tactical audio accessories. How does the DSP help in loud environments? The Digital Signal Processor analyzes incoming sound and only opens the microphone when it recognizes the unique characteristics of human speech, effectively filtering out wind, sirens, or gunfire. Is this module waterproof? While designed for tactical use, this is an interface module with moving PTT parts. It is water-resistant, but you should verify the IP rating of the connected headset to determine the total submersion capability of your solution. Warranty 1-year manufacturer's warranty.
