Mansion of the Living Dead [Blu-ray]

One of the more infamous works of his Golden Films Internacional period, writer/director Jess Franco’s depraved subversion of raunchy comedy, erotic thriller and heretical horror has never popped off the screen like this: When four topless cocktail waitresses – led by Lina Romay (aka Candy Coster) at her most luscious – arrive at a deserted resort, they’ll unlock a perverse netherworld of lesbianism, sadism and unholy violation by a zombie religious sect inspired by de Ossorio’s BLIND DEAD series. Antonio Mayans (BLACK BOOTS, LEATHER WHIP), Mari Carmen Nieto (SEXUAL STORY OF O), Eva León (BAHIA BLANCA) and Albino Graziani (NIGHT OF OPEN SEX) co-star in “a fetishistic feast essential for the Francophile’s collection” (Sex Gore Mutants), now scanned in 2K from the original negative for the first time ever.
