Silver Fern™'s Motility is for you!* We have looked at, researched, and tested everything to help with slow motility and constipation issues without using laxatives. Our top-selling and incredibly popular Ultimate Probiotic contains strains that can help with constipation, but it doesn’t do enough for those with serious constipation issues. The end result is Motility! A powerful combination of three key ingredients that work together to provide amazing results! Motility may help with: Long-term entrenched constipation issues* Comfortable food transit* Bloating, burping, and gas* Feelings of fullness* Stomach cramps and discomfort* Cortisol, sleep, stress and serotonin levels* Nutrient absorption* Stomach and gut barrier* Why not use a laxative? Silver Fern™ Brand specializes in helping people with gut health, and there is no greater culprit for gut health than slow motility, but laxatives are not the solution, long term they’re part of the problem! Laxatives: Don't address the root causes of slow motility Are not a long-term solution Can create more gut imbalances leading to additional problems May create a dependency, leading to lazy bowel How we address slow motility: With laxatives off the table as a solution, we turned to some incredible ingredients for a gut-friendly approach to dealing with slow motility: Artichoke Leaf Extract: We have tested and tried a multitude of artichoke leaf extracts, all of them were ineffective except one. The specific artichoke leaf extract we use in Motility comes from France and is the only one with the unique standardization we needed to be effective with constipation and motility issues. We couldn’t get it here in the U.S. and it is the key for what makes Motility so different and so effective! Artichoke Leaf extract is especially effective at supporting bile acid secretion. Bile acids modulate gastric emptying as well as small and intestinal colonic motility. Tender Okra Pods: Okra pods contain mucilage, a gelatinous substance that can help soothe and support the protective barrier in the gut known as the mucosal barrier. When the mucosal barrier is healthy and intact, the immune system functions better, the gut is less inflamed, and digestion and nutrient absorption both improve.* Winter Cherry (Ashwagandha): Winter cherry (the root of Withania somnifera Dunal) is a known adaptogenic herb, meaning that it can help the body more effectively manage symptoms of everyday stress, which is a common cause of slow motility. Additionally, winter cherry root in combinatino with okra can help improve serotonin signaling, which plays an important role in proper gut motility.* This blend of artichoke leaf extract, okra pods, and winter cherry in Motility takes a novel approach to help with motility issues. They may help peristalsis (the motion in the system that causes regularity), and address many of the details that are frequently skipped with other motility products. These are things like serotonin, everyday stress, gut barrier integrity, and unhealthy immune responses.* Motility may also help: Promote bile acid secretion* Maintain peristalsis* (the wave-like motion that pushes material through digestion) Lower cortisol levels and everyday stress* Comfortable transit and ease of evacuation * Improve serotonin levels* (serotonin promotes motility) Motility hits multiple aspects of regularity to confidently provide you with an effective response to your slow motility and constipation issues.* Directions for use: Mild Constipation Issues: 1 bottle of Motility per month – Take 2 capsules with the first meal of the day Moderate to Severe Constipation Issues: 2 bottles of Motility per month – Take 4 capsules with the first meal of the day  We recommend doing this for at least 90 days. You need to turn your system back on and program it to stay on so it can function independently.* Additional Details and Common questions: Most notice Motility is working within 2 to 3 weeks, but please give it at least 30 days for it to start working. Remember, Motility is not a laxative. If you have an immediate need for help with constipation issues, please see your doctor and talk with them about the appropriate option(s) for you. Motility is best taken with the first meal of the day, but can be taken at any time with or without food. Consistency is the most important thing on which to focus. If you are on laxatives, you typically can start easing off them in weeks 2 to 4 or at the first signs of loose stools. As your regularity returns, laxatives will cause diarrhea and loose stools and are an indication you may no longer need them. Please do not take Motility during the same time of day as laxatives (Please remember that high doses of caffeine also act as a laxative). If you have been on Motility for several weeks and find that your stools are “soft-serve ice cream” consistency, please consider adding more fiber to your diet to help give your stool consistency and form. Fiber deficiency will affect the quality of your regularity. Sensitive Gut Fiber is a low FODMAP prebiotic fiber that is shown to help with constipation and regularity. If you have slow stomach emptying issues, please wait until these feelings of fullness have been gone for 2 weeks before adding fiber to your diet. Fiber may make people with slow gastric emptying feel worse. Gut imbalances are a common cause of both constipation and diarrhea.  We strongly encourage you to pursue the appropriate gut restoration protocol for you to meet your specific gut needs to achieve long-lasting regularity. Other Issues Caused by Slow Motility You may think that slow motility only equals constipation issues, but that’s only the beginning. You will be surprised how well you feel when your system is operating as it should. Here are some common issues and discomforts that are often caused by slow motility. Constipation Reflux and heartburn Bloating and distension Nausea and vomiting Stomach aches and pains Feeling full quickly from eating a small amount of food and feeling full for hours after Hoarseness and coughing Choking on food Regurgitation Diarrhea (believe it or not, diarrhea can be caused by slow motility) Ground zero for many gut health issues is gut motility. If you skip this important step, your gut issues will likely continue or return. Is Motility Something You Need to Stay on Long-Term? Motility was designed to help you get your system back up and going, so most do not need to stay on Motility long-term, but there are several cases where it may be beneficial to continue taking it:  If you are taking semaglutide, tirzepatide, or other medications that cause constipation and stomach issues then you may need to stay on Motility to help with regularity while you use those medications. If your cause for constipation is menopause then you may need to stay on Motility while you have menopause symptoms. If stress causes your constipation and your stress continues, then you may need Motility to help with regularity and slow motility issues until your circumstances change. If you’ve experienced additional digestive comfort from taking motility then you may want to continue taking it long-term. Unlike laxatives, Motility provides many great gut health benefits, so staying on it long-term is definitely worth considering! How Do You Know If You Are Taking a Laxative? MiraLAX®, Ducolax®, Senokot®, and Milk of Magnesia are laxatives. Here are laxatives you may not be aware are laxatives: Magnesium citrate Magnesium hydroxide Magnesium carbonate High doses of vitamin C Senna Cascara sagrada Aloe vera (mild laxative) Coffee (mild laxative effect)  Lifestyle Suggestions: Effective products can be very helpful for obtaining regularity, but here are some other suggestions that may also be helpful: Drink plenty of water (please consider adding additional water to your daily habit) Be active and exercise.
