"Carried" Print

This is a detailed print of my original painting, "Carried".  Artist Statement A peasant girl, called to give birth to a King Oh, what a tremendous and divine calling Did she feel unfledged, unsettled, or alone— As she left Nazareth, a stable to call her babe’s first home? Her feet swollen, belly growing taut Traveling beside Joseph, a man she knew not Did she awake to tender mercies— Fair weather, restful sleep, A knowing nuzzle from her donkey? Were the heavens opened; Did angels walk beside?
