Mother (Um) Print

Mother (أم) We all know that there is nothing equivalent of the love of a mother. We also know how much mothers do for their children and how selfless mothers are. In this modern Arabic calligraphy design, the slightly-bending vertical stroke (a stylized letter A in Arabic) represents a standing mother, while the rest represents a child hanging on her knees. The child’s body is portrayed by a round head and a connected stroke that decreases in thickness (the letter M in Arabic). The idea is depicted very efficiently and has been understood and appreciated by viewers who do not know Arabic. 11x17" print by Nihad Dukhan All prints come framed in a black frame.
