The MOTAS-EL Print Bundle: Guide, LOOP Interviews, and the Scoring Sheets

The MOTAS-EL (Meaningful Outcomes Treatment & Assessment Scale – Early Learner) is a complete, criterion-referenced assessment tool system for children ages 0–5 diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder or related developmental differences. Built as a companion to the original MOTAS, the Early Learner edition was created to help professionals design interventions that are both developmentally appropriate and deeply individualized. Authored by Board Certified Behavior Analysts in consultation with developmental psychologists, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and other experts, the MOTAS-EL promotes collaboration and shared understanding among all members of a child’s care team. In This Bundle This bundle of printed autism assessment tools includes everything needed to assess, plan, and monitor meaningful progress for young learners: The MOTAS-EL Guide, offering detailed instructions for administering and interpreting the assessment, plus over 900 measurable items across 17 domains. The LOOP-EL (Levels of Optimum Performance – Early Learner) Interviews, structured conversations for caregivers, clients, and professionals that ensure every voice is heard when identifying treatment goals. The MOTAS-EL Scoring Booklets, allowing consistent data collection and progress tracking across multiple sessions using the standardized 0–5 scale. The MOTAS-EL emphasizes early developmental foundations (joint attention, play, imitation, communication, and self-awareness) while also addressing functional areas such as toileting, safety, and community participation. Each domain is grounded in research-based developmental milestones, helping practitioners set goals that reflect the child’s current abilities and natural next steps.
