Moss Agate Botanical Leaf Ring in Sterling Silver

Think of a single leaf pressed between the pages of an old herbarium — its veins and edges preserved forever. This moss agate botanical leaf ring captures that same quiet magic in metal, with slender silver leaves trailing along the band and a 6 x 8 mm oval natural moss agate set like a window onto a miniature forest. Crafted in solid 925 sterling silver with a bright rhodium finish, it is a woodland keepsake made to be worn every single day. Natural moss agate Oval 6 x 8 mm Solid 925 sterling silver Rhodium finish Botanical leaf band Ready to ship A botanical leaf design The band is shaped like a living sprig caught mid-growth, with finely detailed leaves curling toward the center stone as if reaching for light. Given a high-polish finish, each little leaf catches and returns the light, lending the ring the storybook, fairytale-woodland feel that defines our leaf engagement rings. It is an unhurried, romantic alternative to the plain solitaire — equally at home with cottagecore, forest-wedding and everyday styling. The natural moss agate stone At the heart of the ring sits a genuine natural moss agate, cut as a graceful 6 x 8 mm oval. Its green is never dyed or added — the vine-like, forest-green markings are natural inclusions of manganese and iron suspended inside clear chalcedony, drifting through the stone like moss on a riverbank. Because these patterns take shape underground over countless years, every moss agate is genuinely one of a kind. Yours will share the same character as our photos, with subtle individual variation in how the greenery gathers and swirls — the signature of a real stone, not a defect. It is the same natural character you will find across our moss agate engagement rings. If you are weighing shapes, our comparison of the best cuts for moss agate rings makes a strong case for the flattering, finger-lengthening oval. The sparkling diamond accents Framing the oval, a scatter of simulated diamonds adds a crisp, icy sparkle that lifts the mossy green and gives the design its finished, engagement-ready shimmer. They are a bright, value-conscious way to bring classic brilliance to the piece without overshadowing the natural stone at its center. Prefer a lab-grown diamond or moissanite instead? Send us a message — most of our designs can be upgraded on request. Solid sterling silver with a rhodium finish The ring is crafted from solid 925 sterling silver and then plated in rhodium, the same precious metal used to finish luxury white gold. That rhodium layer gives the silver a bright, white luster and a hard-wearing shield that helps resist tarnish and day-to-day scuffs, so the band keeps its just-polished glow far longer. To see how the finish shapes the whole look, our guide to the best settings for moss agate rings explores how metal and mounting work together. What moss agate symbolizes Often called the "stone of new beginnings" and a gardener's good-luck charm, moss agate carries meanings of growth, abundance and grounded, patient love. It has long been seen as a stone that steadies the heart and encourages things — and relationships — to take root and flourish. That gentle symbolism is exactly why it resonates with couples and free spirits alike. For the fuller story of where the finest material comes from, our Montana moss agate guide is a wonderful read. Frequently asked questions Is the moss agate natural? Yes. The center stone is a genuine natural moss agate, and its forest-green, vine-like markings form underground — never dyed or painted in. That natural origin is exactly why each stone is unique. What shape and size is the center stone? It is a 6 x 8 mm oval. The elongated oval cut flatters the finger, makes the stone read a touch larger and gives the mossy inclusions plenty of room to spread across a bright, open surface. Why choose an oval cut for moss agate? The oval's smooth, rounded outline shows off the stone's dreamy green patterns without hard corners to distract, and it pairs beautifully with the flowing lines of the botanical band. It is one of the most wearable and timeless shapes for this stone. Tell me about the botanical leaf band. The band is sculpted with delicate silver leaves that trail along its length and curve toward the center stone, given a high-polish finish so each leaf catches the light. It creates a woodland, storybook look that stands apart from a plain solitaire. What are the sparkling accents? They are cubic zirconia (CZ) accents that frame the oval with a crisp, icy sparkle. They add classic engagement-ring brilliance at a friendly price while letting the natural moss agate remain the star of the design. What metal is the ring made from? Solid 925 sterling silver, plated with rhodium for a bright white luster and an added layer of protection against tarnish and everyday scratches. What does the rhodium finish do? Rhodium is the same precious metal used to finish fine white gold. It lends the silver a bright, mirror-white shine and forms a protective coat that helps the ring look freshly polished for longer. Will my stone look exactly like the photos? It will share the same character as our photos, with subtle individual variation. Because moss agate forms naturally, no two stones carry an identical pattern, so yours will be one of a kind while matching the overall look you see. Is this ring durable enough for everyday wear? Yes. Moss agate sits around 6.5 to 7 on the Mohs scale, which suits daily wear with sensible care. Avoid hard knocks, and take the ring off for heavy or rough tasks to keep both the stone and the botanical detailing pristine. How quickly does it ship? This ring is ready to ship, so once your size is selected it can be dispatched promptly rather than waiting on a made-to-order timeline — a convenient option when you need it sooner. Can I have it engraved? Yes. You can add an optional engraving of up to 16 characters at checkout — a date, initials or a few words. Engraved pieces are final sale, so please double-check your spelling before ordering. How should I clean and store it? Remove the ring before showering, swimming or using lotions, store it in the velvet gift box, and buff it with a soft, dry cloth to restore shine. Gentle habits keep the moss agate and the rhodium finish bright. Is the stone ethically sourced, and how does it arrive? All of our stones are ethically sourced and conflict-free. Your ring arrives in a complimentary luxury velvet gift box and is backed by our lifetime warranty — ready to give or to keep.
