Mosaic Damascus Chef Knife

Our Mosaic Damascus Chef Knife is a one-of-a-kind kitchen blade forged from a hand-layered mosaic pattern of 15N20 and 1080 high-carbon steel. Every slice through the bevel reveals a living, shifting design — no two knives share the same pattern. Paired with a handle of Purpleheart and African Blackwood, this is a knife that earns its place on the wall and earns its keep on the cutting board. The Blade Steel: Mosaic Damascus — 15N20 and 1080 high-carbon, hand-forged and layered for a one-of-a-kind pattern Profile: Chef knife geometry — optimized for rocking cuts, slicing, and precision prep work Finish: Etched to reveal the full mosaic pattern across the flat and bevel The Handle Materials: Purpleheart and African Blackwood — two of the most striking and durable hardwoods available Character: Deep violet tones of Purpleheart contrast against the near-black grain of African Blackwood, creating a handle as distinctive as the blade it carries One-of-a-Kind Mosaic Damascus is not stamped or mass-produced. Each billet is hand-forged, and the pattern that emerges is unique to that knife alone. What you see is what you get — and what you get, no one else has. Want to Forge Your Own? Heritage Designs offers the opportunity for customers to forge their own knife. Join one of our Classes to handcraft your own blade, or gift the experience with our Experience the Forge Gift Box.
