Mosaic Chalcedony Tower

This unique gemstone is a combination of different minerals like clear quartz, chalcedony, granite, orange calcite, and graphite, all naturally fused together, and is found exclusively in specific regions of Brazil.  Mosaic chalcedony forms through a process called "hydrothermal alteration" where silica-rich fluids, often containing various minerals like quartz, feldspar, and other trace elements, percolate through rock formations, causing the silica to precipitate and crystallize in a layered or "mosaic" pattern, creating the distinctive appearance of mosaic chalcedony.
