Morrissey - Make-Up Is A Lie [Blue]

The legendary singer/songwriter Morrissey returns with his much anticipated 14th solo album, his first in over 5 years. The album also marks his return to Sire Records, the home of the early Morrissey solo albums, and of course, The Smiths catalog. Morrissey is rightly acknowledged as one of the greatest lyricists of his generation, and a hugely influential figure in pop music over the last 40+ years. Make-Up Is A Lie was recorded in France and features 11 new songs, all which are certain to become classics in Morrissey’s catalog. A superb cover of Roxy Music’s “Amazona” rounds out the 12-track album. “Make-Up Is A Lie”, the album’s title track, is the first single and is the perfect introduction to the infectious grooves, melodies and lyrics that are a theme through the entire album. Morrissey’s legions of fans around the world will embrace this album with enthusiasm.
