Morning Mist Canvas Wall Art . Rectangle

I painted this duo — Waters Edge and Morning Mist — as an abstract homage to waking up on crisp mornings at my family Lakehouse. It’s a humble chalet, but the view of the still morning lake never ever gets old. I added all sorts of texture with salt, charcoals and pastels as a nod to all the life that exists below the surface.  Soft blues, muted greens, and hazy texture come together in Morning Mist, an abstract piece inspired by quiet mornings at the lake (when the haze is hanging right above the water), or breathing in the fresh coastal air. Gentle movement and layered brushstrokes create a soothing, lived-in minimalism. Designed to bring softness and calm into your home, this piece is perfect for homes inspired by coastal interiors. (Pair it with its counterpart or display it on its own. You can also hang it horizontally if you’d like to display it over a sofa or a bed).
