Morgan & Tess

Morgan & Tess by Eileen Sheehan In a world where the supernatural hides in plain sight and ancient power structures govern who lives, who dies, and who belongs, love becomes the most dangerous rebellion of all. Morgan was an ambitious human with a powerful future—until one camping trip changed everything. Bitten by a zombie and pulled into a hidden world of vampires, witches, werewolves, and supernatural tribunals, he is forced to navigate a reality where humanity is fragile, knowledge is lethal, and survival depends on allegiance. Transformed into something no one fully understands, Morgan becomes a living anomaly—hunted by factions that fear what he represents and hunted by forces that want to control what he could become. Tess is not just a vampire—she is a fixer. Five centuries old, politically powerful, and feared within the supernatural hierarchy, she exists to contain threats, eliminate instability, and protect her species at any cost. Love has never been part of her purpose. Humans are beneath her world, outside her loyalties, and never meant to matter. Until Morgan. Drawn together by circumstance, secrecy, and a connection neither of them can deny, Morgan and Tess struggle against a world that refuses to let them exist between boundaries. As science collides with magic and humanity collides with immortality, their relationship is tested by betrayal, transformation, political warfare, and the terrifying question of identity: what does it mean to choose who you become when every choice carries a cost? As Morgan moves through zombism, humanity, and finally immortality by choice, Morgan & Tess becomes a story of forbidden love, power, and survival. It is a paranormal romance where transformation is not just physical, but emotional, moral, and existential. Emotionally charged, and rich with supernatural politics, Morgan & Tess is a story about love that defies species, loyalty that challenges hierarchy, and the courage it takes to choose eternity—not for power, not for safety, but for love.   From Reader's Favorite 5-Star award: Eileen Sheehan transports the reader into an enthralling world that features vampires, zombies, witches, and ruthless hierarchies. The author does a fantastic job of blending supernatural fiction with political intrigue. Morgan & Tess is packed with mystery, romance, and drama. It's a fast-paced plot with timely twists and turns that keep you engaged and craving more. One of the best things about this book is the character relationships. Morgan is a stoical person who quickly adapts in the face of adversity. On the other hand, Tess is much more impulsive and rooted in her centuries-old outlook as a vampire. So, she is apprehensive of change. But despite their contrasting personalities, their bond grows stronger over time. I love supernatural tales, so I really enjoyed this book.
