More Light (Dance for Kindness Version)

On November 8, 2015, the world united under the banner of a single song, with a single choreography, promoting a single message. The event was called "Dance for Kindness" a worldwide flashmob organized by Life Vest Inside, an organization that seeks to make the world a more positive place by increasing kindness and unity. After having won the "Worldwide Anthem Contest" by popular vote, Yaakov Feldstein's "More Light" spread like wildfire across the globe. The competition victory deemed "More Light" the official song for the worldwide flashmob, and was to be choreographed and produced with a new version for the flashmob.  November 8th was a glorious day, with tens of thousands of people in over 100 cities in 50 countries dancing the same dance to the same song, "More Light", all in the name of kindness, peace, and world unity. The flagship location of Dance For Kindness was Times Square, where Yaakov performed the song during the flashmob in front of a whopping public crowd of thousands. But it was knowing that on the very same day people around the globe were coming together and doing the same that was the driving force in this whole event. It wasn't about the hundreds that danced the choreography in your location, but rather the thousands the world over that connected with the same cause through the music. Yaakov has undoubtedly made a positive impact on the world with this original composition, by speaking to the hearts of tens of thousands of people of all different races, religions, and languages, uniting them with the single universal, positive message. it can be definitively said that Yaakov and Dance for Kindness have brought "More Light" into the world. ____________________ More Light - Dance For Kindness Version Composition and Lyrics by Yaakov Feldstein Performed by Yaakov Feldstein Music by Mark Dorflinger, 118 West Studios, Los Angeles, California Vocals Recorded by Jake Antelis, Hillside, New Jersey Music Director: Charles Preston Choreography by Anthony Giorgio and Jacqueline Ramirez Presented by Aviator Studios, Queens, New York Distributed In Part by CD Baby Cover Photos by Allison Socol Cover Design by Ruchie Gross yaakovfeldstein.com facebook.com/FeldsteinMusic yfeldsteinmusic@gmail.com ____________________ Lyrics: VERSE I Put on a smile for those who don't And change the world for those who won't Today's our day to share a dream The power lies in our belief Let’s speak for all of those who can’t And rise for those who cannot stand  Inside we all shine like the sun It’s time to let it out together as one CHORUS: More light, more love Everything we’re made up of is light Hold on tight, through it all Pick the whole world up when you see it fall And shine more light VERSE II Let’s give our love to those in need and change the headlines that we read We all want peace, this is our chance Unite the world through song and dance There is a space that you can fill Look deep within you'll find the skill It’s better to fail than never try Follow your heart and you will glimmer and shine with CHORUS: More light, more love Everything we’re made up of is light Hold on tight, through it all Pick the whole world up when you see it fall And shine BRIDGE: Don’t need a cape to be a hero It's more heroic to teach others to fly An act of kindness, no matter how small Creates a ripple that goes on and on …
