The moon never really holds one color. It shifts with the light, flashing blue, green, gold, then disappearing back into gray. Moonwake was built around that movement, with a gray labradorite resting inside a larger crescent of shifting labradorite. Like catching the moon mid-change, with a little bit of its light trailing behind.
