MOONSTONE

Moonstone from Goshen Coffee is named for the stone that brings clarity and positive energy—qualities this coffee delivers in every cup. Roasted in Portland, Oregon, Moonstone showcases Goshen's skill at highlighting origin character while maintaining exceptional balance. This is coffee that shines whether you're brewing your first pour over or dialing in a complex espresso profile. Tasting Notes Moonstone opens with bright, clean fruit notes—think stone fruit and citrus—that give way to a smooth, creamy body with subtle floral undertones. The acidity is lively but never sharp, providing structure without overwhelming the cup's natural sweetness. The finish is long and satisfying, with lingering notes of honey and a whisper of brown sugar. This is a coffee that rewards attention but never demands it, offering complexity for those who seek it and pure drinkability for those who don't. Brew Methods Moonstone excels across multiple brewing methods. As pour over (V60, Chemex, or Kalita), it showcases remarkable clarity and allows the fruit-forward notes to sing. The balanced profile makes it an outstanding choice for espresso, where it pulls sweet and approachable shots with excellent crema and minimal bitterness. French press drinkers will appreciate how the fuller body emphasizes the coffee's creamy texture, while cold brew extraction highlights the natural sweetness and stone fruit characteristics. This versatility makes Moonstone an ideal daily drinker for home baristas who rotate between brewing methods.
