He wrote it as a piano solo work. It is one of the most loved classical piano solo pieces in the world. "Moonlight Sonata" has 3 different movements. On this page, we offer the 1st movement (Adagio Sostenuto) of "Moonlight Sonata." It is a slow piece and the most famous movement of all three movements.
