Moonglow Juniper

The Moonglow Juniper is a standout evergreen tree known for its silvery-blue foliage and elegant, upright growth habit. This Juniperus scopulorum variety features dense, fine-textured needles that maintain their vibrant color year-round, making it an ideal choice for adding structure and color contrast in landscapes. Perfect for use as a privacy screen, windbreak, or as a specimen plant, Moonglow Juniper's tall, narrow form allows it to fit beautifully into smaller spaces while still providing a striking vertical accent. It is hardy in zones 3-7, thriving in a range of climates. Growing up to 15-20 feet tall and 4-6 feet wide, Moonglow Juniper is a low-maintenance shrub that prefers full sun and well-drained soil. This drought-tolerant juniper is an excellent choice for xeriscaping or landscapes with minimal water availability. Its silvery-blue foliage not only adds a touch of elegance to the garden but also creates a unique color contrast against green plants or flowering shrubs. Its naturally dense growth habit makes it an effective privacy barrier, while its upright shape brings structure to both formal and informal landscapes. Resistant to deer, pests, and diseases, the Moonglow Juniper requires little more than occasional pruning to maintain its shape, making it perfect for gardeners seeking an easy-care, long-lasting shrub. Its year-round color and hardiness in tough conditions ensure that Moonglow Juniper remains a focal point in the landscape, even through winter. Whether used in mass plantings, as a formal hedge, or as a stunning standalone accent, Moonglow Juniper offers both beauty and practicality for any garden design.
