Mookaite Hair Fork

The dreamy stone on this hair fork captures the glowing reds and golds of the Western Australia landscape, which is the only place on earth you can find Mookaite. Style your hair bun or updo with this bright and colorful bit of Australia. Mookaite is found exclusively near the Kennedy Ranges in Western Australia and was first discovered at Mooka Station.  The stone on this fork is a bit larger and heavier than most of my pieces. It is designed for a larger bun and thicker hair. I don't recommend it for fine hair. The Technical Details The stone is Mookaite and is set in sterling and fine silver. The forks are also sterling silver. This is a one of a kind piece. The setting is approximately 1-1/2 across, corner to corner, and the edges are about 1-1/4 inches.
