The Quiet Botanist: Moody Blooms Candle

A study in nocturnal botanicals—this perennial customer favorite captures the enigmatic dialogue between violet's shadowed elegance and absinthe's storied mystique. Created by The Quiet Botanist, a distinguished floral atelier in Hudson NY, where botanical wisdom and refined craftsmanship intersect in harmonious dialogue. The composition unfolds deliberately, revealing its character in measured stages. Top notes of anise, eucalyptus, and saffron open the conversation, leading to a heart of black violet and black currant, their intensity softened by basil's green clarity. The foundation rests on fennel, dark musk, tonka bean, and amber—creating depth rather than mere fragrance. Hand-poured in NY using natural coconut wax and beeswax, this vessel stands apart from commercial alternatives through its authentic botanical origins. Crafted by those who understand plant life intimately, the scent profile honors complex botanical signatures without resorting to phthalates or harmful chemicals found in conventional fragrance. Each candle arrives with an oversized matchbook bearing botanical illustrations—transforming illumination from act to ritual. Oversized 14oz candle, 80-90 hour burn time, 4" signature matchbook included.
