Monty Python Giclée on Canvas

Brought to life in the renowned style of Alex Ross is a fanciful tribute to the surreal British comedy group, Monty Python. Monty Python (also known as The Pythons) created their sketch comedy show, Monty Python’s Flying Circus, which first aired on the BBC in 1969. Forty-five episodes were made over four series that ended in 1974. The Python phenomenon developed from the television series into something larger in scope and impact, including touring stage shows, films, numerous albums, several books, and musicals. The Pythons' influence on comedy has been compared to the Beatles’ influence on music.  Graham Chapman, John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones, and Michael Palin conceived, wrote, and performed their sketches, which not only had an innovative stream of conscious but also pushed the boundaries of what was acceptable in style and content. Together this band of groundbreaking cohorts became one of the more enduring icons for British Pop Culture and garnered worldwide adulation. Monty Python Canvas is a 20 1/2 x 44 Giclee on Elegance Velvet Canvas. Each piece of the edition has been numbered and is signed by Alex Ross with Official Certificate of Authenticity.
