Monty in Normandy

Product Description Monty in Normandy Model: DD406 Scale: 1/30 Finish: Matte This finely detailed 1/30 scale figure portrays Field Marshal Bernard Law Montgomery—“Monty”—during the Normandy campaign of 1944. Wearing his distinctive ‘two-badged’ beret and a Royal Air Force leather flight jerkin, Monty stands in one of his familiar relaxed yet observant poses, surveying operations in the wake of D-Day. As commander of the 21st Army Group, Montgomery played a central role in planning and directing Allied ground forces during Operation Overlord and the subsequent breakout from Normandy. Known for his methodical approach and unmistakable personal style, Monty became one of the most recognizable Allied commanders of the war. The figure captures his characteristic stance and field attire rather than formal dress, reflecting the forward presence he maintained near active operations. Finished in realistic matte tones with carefully sculpted uniform details, this piece is an essential addition to any WWII British or Normandy campaign display.
