Monstrance Necklace

"Christ held Himself in His hands when He gave His Body to His disciples saying: 'This is My Body.' No one partakes of this Flesh before he has adored it." - Saint Augustine The radical truth of Christ's Real Presence in the Holy Eucharist—body, blood, soul, and divinity—is a mystery of infinite depth. Yet our understanding (or lack thereof) does not change the fact: during the celebration of the Mass, "by the words of Christ and the invocation of the Holy Spirit," the bread and wine literally become Christ's flesh and blood (Catechism of the Catholic Church 1333). Though the appearance of bread and wine remain, the substance is permanently changed into our Savior. That's why we kneel in adoration before the consecrated Host in a monstrance—because It is Christ Himself. Our Monstrance Necklace features a detailed illustration of a monstrance holding the Holy Eucharist. The illustration is hand-stamped on an elegant 14k gold filled oval disc and attached to our dainty-yet-durable chain to create this piece. Wear this luminous necklace in remembrance of Christ's glorious sacrifice—a sacrifice which we ourselves partake in through the Most Blessed Sacrament of the Eucharist.
