Monoi Ylang Ylang Body Oil

Ylang Ylang is a very well known fragrance in the perfume world. It is one of the main notes in many of the most popular perfumes of today including Chanel No. 5 and Joy. Ylang Ylang is a Tagalog (a Filipino Dialect) word meaning wilderness. The tree, indigenous to Asia and the South Pacific, is known as the "perfume tree" due to the aroma of its exotic greenish-yellow flower. The Ylang Ylang fragrance is distinct. It is heavy, bold, sweet, and exotic. An essential oil is distilled from the flower. This fragrance, back in 1990, became the most recent fragrance to be included in the classic Monoi Tiki Tahiti line due to its world wide popularity. The dried Tiare flower in this bottle is a trademark of Parfumerie Tiki and is there to show that this product is the real Monoi. The exceptional properties of Monoi de Tahiti and its unique virtues were officially recognized by an “Appellation of Origin” Guarantee of Origin – by the French government, to control counterfeiting.
