Mondraker Crafty Carbon RR SL Frame

The Mondraker Crafty Carbon RR SL Frame is the foundation of Mondraker’s most advanced full-power electric mountain bike platform, designed for riders who want to build a high-performance e-MTB with uncompromising trail capability. Built around Mondraker’s Stealth Air carbon construction and progressive trail geometry, this frame is engineered to deliver exceptional control, suspension performance, and integration with one of the most powerful drive systems in modern mountain biking. For riders looking to create a custom e-MTB build around a proven platform, the Crafty Carbon RR SL frame offers a premium starting point. The frame is constructed using Mondraker’s Stealth Air Carbon technology, which focuses on achieving the ideal balance between strength, stiffness, and weight. Carbon fiber allows Mondraker engineers to precisely control frame characteristics, producing a chassis that remains responsive and durable while handling the increased demands of aggressive e-mountain biking. The design also integrates the motor and battery system cleanly into the frame, maintaining structural integrity and creating a streamlined appearance. A defining characteristic of Mondraker bikes is their Forward Geometry, and the Crafty Carbon RR SL frame fully embraces this design philosophy. Forward Geometry uses a longer front center paired with a shorter stem to improve stability at speed and enhance rider confidence on technical terrain. The result is a bike that feels planted on steep descents and composed through fast, rough trail sections while still maintaining precise steering input. Suspension performance is driven by Mondraker’s Zero Suspension System, a design that separates pedaling and braking forces from suspension movement. This allows the rear suspension to remain active across varied trail conditions, improving traction and control whether climbing rocky sections or descending through rough terrain. The frame is designed to deliver 150mm of rear wheel travel, giving riders the capability needed for aggressive trail riding and demanding mountain environments. The Crafty Carbon RR SL frame is engineered around the Bosch Performance Line CX Smart System, one of the most trusted drive systems in the e-MTB world. This integration allows riders to harness powerful pedal assistance while maintaining the natural ride characteristics of a performance trail bike. The frame also accommodates Bosch’s integrated battery system, providing extended ride range for long mountain adventures. Because this is a frameset, it gives riders and custom builders the freedom to create a personalized high-performance e-MTB. Riders can select their preferred suspension components, drivetrain, wheelset, and cockpit to tailor the bike precisely to their riding style and terrain. Whether building a race-ready trail machine or a long-travel adventure bike, the Crafty Carbon RR SL frame provides the advanced platform needed to support a wide range of premium component builds. Mondraker also incorporates thoughtful details throughout the frame design. Internal cable routing keeps the appearance clean while protecting components from dirt and debris encountered on the trail. The integrated motor housing and battery placement help maintain optimal weight distribution, which contributes to improved stability and predictable handling on challenging terrain. The Mondraker Crafty Carbon RR SL Frame ultimately delivers a cutting-edge platform for riders who want to build a top-tier electric mountain bike from the ground up. With its advanced carbon construction, progressive geometry, and compatibility with Bosch’s powerful Smart System motor, this frame is designed for riders who demand performance, durability, and modern trail capability.
