Mondraker Arid Carbon Frameset

The Mondraker Arid Carbon Frameset is built around a simple premise: gravel riding rarely stays simple. Tarmac gives way to hardpack, hardpack gives way to loose chunder, and the terrain you planned for is rarely the terrain you get. Mondraker engineered the Arid to absorb all of it — not by softening the ride into something vague, but by building a carbon frame with enough specificity in its construction to handle real mixed-surface demands without compromise. The carbon layup is where Mondraker's gravel-specific thinking becomes tangible. Rather than repurposing a road geometry with wider tire clearance, the Arid's front triangle and bottom bracket shell are designed for stiffness under power — so your effort on long climbs or sustained gravel pushes translates efficiently into forward motion. At the same time, the seatstays and fork are tuned to filter out the sustained vibration that makes rough terrain punishing over time. That kind of targeted compliance isn't a concession to comfort; it's what keeps your hands fresh and your legs capable after four hours of mixed terrain. The geometry reflects the kind of riding the Arid was designed for — fast and confident on loose surfaces, stable enough to descend without white-knuckling the bars, and upright enough to sustain across long days in the saddle. Five sizes from S through XL cover a wide range of riders, and two colorways give you something to consider: Superblack for those who want their build to speak for itself, and Fangsia — an earthy, muted tone with enough character to stand apart. Both finishes carry the restrained, performance-focused aesthetic that defines Mondraker's approach to frame design. Mondraker Arid Carbon Frameset Specs at a Glance Frame Material: Gravel-specific carbon fiber construction Fork: Carbon fork included Intended Use: Gravel racing and mixed-surface endurance riding Sizes Available: S, M, ML, L, XL Colorways: Superblack, Fangsia Product Type: Frameset (frame and fork) Brand: Mondraker Category: Gravel bike frameset Design Benefits Carbon Layup Tuned for Mixed Terrain: Mondraker's gravel-specific carbon construction is intended to deliver power transfer where you need it — through the bottom bracket and main triangle — while allowing the rear end and fork to manage road noise and surface chatter. The result is a frame that doesn't feel like a compromise between a road bike and an adventure rig, but something designed from the ground up for varied conditions. Geometry Built for Confidence on Loose Ground: The Arid's geometry is designed to keep the front end stable when the surface beneath you gets unpredictable. A more stable steering profile means fewer corrections on descents and better tracking on loose gravel — which translates directly to less fatigue and more control at speed, exactly where it matters most on long gravel routes or competitive events. Five-Size Range with Consistent Fit Intent: Offering five distinct sizes — S through XL — rather than collapsing into a three-size range means the Arid's geometry intent carries through to more riders. Proper sizing on a gravel frame affects handling balance and comfort more than many riders realize, particularly on extended mixed-surface days where small fit compromises compound over hours. Carbon Fork Included: A matching carbon fork is part of the package, which matters both for weight and for ride quality. Carbon forks are designed to absorb vibration from rough surfaces differently than aluminum alternatives, and having the fork spec matched to the frame means the full ride character Mondraker intended is there from the first ride — not dependent on a build decision made later. Final Take The Mondraker Arid Carbon Frameset is a gravel platform for riders who want a frame with a real point of view — one that handles mixed terrain with intention rather than tolerance. It suits the rider building toward gravel events, extended backcountry routes, or simply demanding more from their off-road riding than a road bike with wider tires can provide. Build it thoughtfully, and the Arid will reward you for a long time.
