'Raspberry Wine' Bee Balm - Monarda

Of course you expect bee balm to attract pollinators - but few other varieties can do that and offer fantastic color and disease resistance to boot. That's why 'Raspberry Wine' is such an excellent choice! The unique color of this hybrid improved monarda will accentuate all of the other summer bloomers in your butterfly or perennial garden. Monardas perform best in full sun with moist soil. Though they can take some shade, this increases the potential for powdery mildew to develop. Avoid wetting the leaves and flowers to further minimize the potential for this unsightly, though ultimately harmless, condition.
