Monadenium coccineum

Monadenium coccineum Family: Euphorbiaceae. An unusual species very closely related to Euphorbia. The stems are long and narrow often bending at a certain point. It produces red tinged leaves that are persistent during the growing season in good conditions. In the winter or if allowed to go too dry the leaves will fall off, but regrow when conditions are good again.  The flowers are bright red.  Takes normal succulent care (lots of light, keep on dry side).  Drops its leaves in the winter and should be kept drier at that time. Does best if kept above 50 degrees but isn't absolutely required.  Protect from frost. You will receive the plant shown last image.  It is shown growing in a 3.25" pot. Important Shipping Information PLANTS ARE SHIPPED BARE ROOT If you want me to send them in pots send me a message to discuss. Extra charges due to increased shipping costs will apply. Immediate Payment (eBay only) Sorry! I can no longer offer a delayed purchase option as the multichannel inventory management system I have started using requires this setting. No Delayed Shipping (eBay only) Once you pay I have to (and WILL) ship within 3 business days or eBay will lower my seller rating. I used to have a way to delay shipping but can no longer do this for the same reason as #2 above. Feel free to message me before buying to see if we can figure something out here, no promises though. Winter Shipping If you live in a cold climate consider including a 96 hour heat pack in your order during the cold months. I have them as a listing. Just add it to your order. If you don’t see them just message me. Thank you!
