Molly Socks

Please note that this listing is for a PDF knitting pattern and not the actual garment. This sweet little pair of lacy socks was born for the love of the Molly pullover. The Strawflower colorway of this yarn and the beautiful (and very easy to work!) lace just needed more opportunities to exist in knitted garments.  I’m so proud of how these turned out, and I hope you love them as much as I do! The Molly Socks are worked from the top down with a lace panel across the front of the foot, and the rest of the sock in quick and easy stockinette. The pattern includes a textured heel flap and gusset and one inch of negative ease for a snug fit. This pattern is written to have the sts evenly divided on two needles. For this you could use Magic Loop, two 24-inch circulars, or, my personal favorite, three 16-inch circulars. Knitting with three 16-inch circulars is accomplished very simply by holding half the sts on each of two needles and working the sts with the third needle; it’s similar to using DPNs with the benefit of the flexible cord.
