Mollis Pendant

The Made by Hand Mollis Pendant blends architectural inspiration with innovative textile techniques through its distinctive 3D knitted dome shade and integrated LED system. This pendant features a cathedral-like silhouette that transforms traditional knitting into three-dimensional lighting design, with the knitted shade fitting snugly over a metal frame like a cozy pullover. The clean, sculptural form adds sophisticated elegance without overwhelming the space. Whether you're illuminating dining areas where the architectural character creates dramatic focal points, bringing refined ambiance to living spaces where the soft dome shape enhances spatial harmony, or adding distinguished lighting to commercial settings where the timeless quality makes lasting impressions, the Mollis Pendant delivers efficient illumination and sophisticated contemporary appeal. This modern pendant is more than just beautiful. It features integrated LED technology that directs most light effectively downward while diffusing gentle ambient glow through the knitted fabric pattern, highlighting the lamp's architectural form. Available in two sizes (50cm at 19.69" diameter, 65cm at 25.59" diameter) with flame-retardant 3D knitted polyester construction that uses minimal materials for maximum effect. The removable shade design allows for easy washing or replacement, plus the generous 118-inch cord provides flexible installation options. As a result, you can use it over dining tables, kitchen islands, or in entryways where both functional lighting and architectural presence are essential. Made by Hand, based in Copenhagen, designs with innovation, sustainability, and fine craftsmanship at its core. Founded in 2014 with a vision for natural materials and permanence, they collaborate with designer Aleksej Iskos to create lighting inspired by everyday materials and traditional techniques. Through 3D knitting innovation and thoughtful architectural design, Made by Hand helps you build spaces that feel both environmentally conscious and beautifully considered with authentic Danish design sophistication that captures the timeless quality of cathedral architecture.
