Our Mokume-Gane Kite Earrings dangle about 2 inches & are set with a light peach colored sunstone. Mokume Gane is Japanese loosely translated is “Wood Grain Metal”, an ancient forging technique, used by the Samurai in the decoration of the infamous Katana swords. Mokume-Gane Kite earrings are made of swirling copper & silver and should be considered a one-of-a-kind as the pattern you see cannot be duplicated. Approximately 2 inches in length including the ear wire, these distinctive earrings have a stunning wood grain like pattern in the metal. The copper oxidizes and becomes a rich rust brown color that perfectly compliments Oregon Sunstone. The peach colored Sunstone dangle is 5.0mm round, weighing nearly 1.00 carats in total.  Oregon Sunstones are 100% natural and never treated, because of this, there is a lot of natural variation in color.
