Mohawk Moon Lyons Studios Limited Edition Aviation Print

Spend a few seconds surveying Sam Lyons' starkly contrasting Mohawk Moon and you'll probably agree that there's a certain otherworldly element to the illustration. For starters, the 17½" x 23½" picture's central star, a luminous white Grumman OV-1 Mohawk, is eerily reminiscent of a NASA space vehicle. Furthermore, Lyons' depiction of a radiant full moon and inky star-filled sky serve to enhance the overall cosmic feel of the composition. Additionally, the densely wooded surface and lightly illuminated lake - both trademark features of many Lyons productions - simultaneously contribute to the celestial character while also adding a degree of terrestrial touch. Whereas the majority of sharply contrasting productions rarely work out, Lyons both does it well and makes it look easy. This image is available as a signed & numbered Limited Edition print (limited to 100). The illustration is printed on acid-free paper, utilizes first-rate permanent inks, and includes a Certificate of Authenticity. A production of epic proportions that's simply beyond compare.
