Moerlein Hidden Mural

This tee celebrates a true Cincy time capsule. During renovation work in Over-the-Rhine, workers uncovered a century-old encaustic tile mural by famed ceramicist Herman Mueller hidden under layers of paint for over 100 years. The mosaic — originally part of the Christian Moerlein Bottling Department from 1896 — features bold imagery and text that speak to Cincinnati’s booming pre-Prohibition brewing era.
