Modische Birma, Schürzen 1946 Original Poster

This colourful retro 1946 poster was created by Swiss artist Donald Brun (1909-1999) for the Birma Company.  It is an advertising for fashionable aprons, such as the one worn by one of the two young women .  Brun was one of the most successful Swiss graphic artists of his days and create many posters many of which have come to highlight the distinctly Swiss poster style.  Particulars: This lithographic poster has been professionally conserved and backed on acid-free linen paper (see poster and print conservation and restoration)
