Modern Rep Bath Mats

Weave your own stylish and functional bath mats with this complete kit, featuring all the yarns needed to create the Modern Rep Bath Mats designed by Colleen Johnson for Handwoven March/April 2021. These mats are thick and sturdy—perfect for staying in place, yet light enough for easy machine washing. The project uses rep weave, a striking warp-faced structure known for its bold geometric patterns. By alternating thick and thin weft picks, rep weave forms distinct ribs that highlight your chosen warp colors, bringing the design to life with texture and contrast.
