Red & Cream Medallion Persian Rug · 1200 Reeds · 3M Points

At a glance: A Persian-inspired 3-million-point premium cotton rug in a warm red & cream palette. The dual-tone field reads sociable rather than formal — built for great rooms, family rooms, and warm-traditional interiors where conversation is the point of the space. The silk-feel cotton hand softens a saturated palette into something tactile. Not machine-washable; cotton care is gentler than wool care.Underfoot firstThe dual-tone red and cream version of the 3M cotton line trades the formal weight of a deep-ground medallion rug for the sociability of an open palette. The raised pattern lifts the medallion clear of the field so the geometry reads in relief — particularly visible where the cream and red meet, where the elevated work catches afternoon light. The cotton hand stays soft under foot at every pressure. Designer pairingRed and cream is the palette of conversation, not ceremony. Pair with mid-tone walnut, cognac leather, aged brass, and natural-linen upholstery for a relaxed traditional reading. Or with white-oak floors, a deep-cream sectional, and warm-bulb floor lamps for a transitional family-room read. The dual-tone palette pulls in both warm woods and softer creams in the surrounding room — it's the rug for a space where you actually entertain. The red ground forgives minor wear; the cream sections need prompter spill response — blot within seconds with a clean damp cloth. Low-pressure vacuum at the upholstery setting weekly. Available sizes 5×7.5 ft — entry rooms, small bedrooms, reading corners 6.5×10 ft — medium living rooms with sofa front legs on the rug 8.2×11.5 ft — large living rooms with all furniture on the rug 10×13 ft — open floor plans and great rooms Family / lifestyleThe red field handles family-room reality well — minor traffic, occasional spills blotted promptly, and pet hair release at standard vacuum suction. The cream accents do require prompter spill response than a single-tone red rug would. A rug pad is recommended in any dining-adjacent placement.
