Modern Flames Orion® V2 Slim Virtual LCD Electric Fireplace

Modern Flames Orion® V2 Slim Virtual LCD Linear Electric Fireplace Panoramic LCD Flames Engineered to Fit Where Others Can't The Modern Flames Orion® V2 Slim linear electric fireplace brings the full power of next-generation virtual LCD flame technology into an ultra-slim profile that fits standard 2x6 walls. At just 6-5/16" deep, the Orion V2 Slim is purpose-built for modern spaces where wall depth is limited but visual impact is not — making it an ideal choice for media walls, living rooms, bedrooms, and contemporary feature walls where a traditional-depth firebox simply won't fit. Available in four linear sizes — 52", 60", 76", and 100" — the Orion V2 Slim delivers the same industry-leading LCD flame realism, immersive audio, and smart app control found across the entire Orion V2 platform. The difference is the form factor: a sleek, wide-format linear design that creates a dramatic panoramic flame display while requiring minimal wall cavity depth. Every model is approved for indoor and outdoor use and can be installed as a built-in clean face, self-trimming insert, or wall-mounted unit — no gas lines, venting, or chimney required. Like every fireplace in the Orion V2 series, the Slim model continues to evolve after installation. New flame styles and digital visual experiences are delivered through the Modern Flames + app, keeping your fireplace fresh, current, and uniquely yours for years to come. Designed and engineered by Modern Flames in Phoenix, Arizona. This means you can achieve a fully recessed, flush-to-wall linear electric fireplace without building out a deeper wall cavity or constructing a custom chase. For remodels and new builds alike, this dramatically simplifies installation and opens up placement options that deeper fireplaces simply can't accommodate. When wall-mounted, the slim profile keeps the unit tight against the wall for a streamlined, contemporary look. Next-Generation Virtual LCD Flame Technology The Orion V2 Slim uses the same upgraded LCD display system found across the entire Orion V2 platform. The panel produces multi-dimensional virtual flames with fluid movement, rich color depth, and lifelike behavior — a significant step beyond conventional electric fireplaces that rely on LED light refraction or rotating mirrors. Improved contrast ratios and deeper blacks make the flames appear more vivid and natural, even when viewed from off-center angles. 24 Flame Options with Over-the-Air Updates You get instant access to 24 distinct flame styles covering a wide spectrum of colors, patterns, and moods. Three standard multi-dimensional flame styles are permanently loaded, and a fourth slot can be swapped with new options downloaded through the Modern Flames + app. New flame designs and digital scenes are added to the library regularly, so your linear electric fireplace keeps evolving long after you've installed it. Adaptive Brightness for Any Lighting Condition An intelligent brightness system detects the ambient light level in your room and automatically adjusts the flame display intensity. During the day, flames stay bold and visible against natural sunlight. In the evening, brightness softens for a natural, relaxed glow. There's no need to manually adjust brightness every time the room lighting changes — the Orion V2 Slim handles it seamlessly. Immersive Built-In Audio System Custom-engineered speakers deliver sound quality that complements the visual realism of the flames. Three professionally produced crackling soundscapes — Classic Crackling, Starry Night, and Stormy Night — recreate the ambiance of a real wood fire without the mess, smoke, or maintenance. Bluetooth connectivity also lets you stream your own music, podcasts, or ambient playlists directly through the fireplace speakers, turning the unit into a dual-purpose entertainment feature. Active Ember Bed and Downlighting The Orion V2 Slim features an active glowing ember bed with a 5" depth that adds vivid color, movement, and texture beneath the log set. Brighter downlights highlight the logs on all Slim models, adding character and depth to the overall display. The combination of the ember bed, downlighting, and LCD flames creates a layered visual presentation that brings the entire firebox to life. An optional TruWood™ log set upgrade is also available for an even more natural, dimensional wood appearance. Smart PTC Ceramic Heating Advanced PTC ceramic heating technology provides up to 5,000 BTU of fast, consistent, supplemental warmth — enough to heat spaces up to approximately 400 sq. ft. The heater operates quietly and independently from the flame display, so you can enjoy the ambiance of the fire year-round with or without heat. All Slim models run on standard 120V power with a plug included for immediate use, and they are also hardwire-ready for a cleaner built-in installation. Three Installation Methods for Maximum Flexibility The Orion V2 Slim gives you three ways to install. For new construction or remodels, use the included drywall stops to install it as a built-in clean face for a seamless, flush finish in any 2x6 wall. For a simpler approach, slide the unit into a finished opening and use the self-trimming frame for a polished look with no additional finishing work. Or, mount it directly on any wall using the wall-mount option for the fastest, least invasive installation. Every method results in a clean, contemporary linear fireplace presentation. Smart App and Remote Control Control every aspect of the Orion V2 Slim from the included premium remote or the Modern Flames + app (available for iOS and Android). Adjust flame style, speed, and color; select crackling sound modes; fine-tune brightness; manage heat settings; set timers; and download new flame themes — all from your phone or the palm of your hand.
