Modern Flames Orion® V2 Multi-Sided Virtual LCD Electric Fireplace

Modern Flames Orion® V2 Multi Virtual LCD Multi-Sided Electric Fireplace Multi-Sided LCD Flames Designed to Be Seen From Every Angle The Modern Flames Orion® V2 Multi is the most versatile electric fireplace in the Orion V2 lineup — purpose-built for multi-sided viewing configurations that let you enjoy stunning virtual LCD flames from the front, side, or both. Configure it as a single-sided built-in, a two-sided corner unit (left or right), or a dramatic three-sided bay fireplace that becomes the centerpiece of an open-concept room. No other electric fireplace on the market offers this level of design flexibility paired with this caliber of flame realism. Available in five sizes — 52", 60", 76", 100", and 120" — the Orion V2 Multi features a deeper firebox than the Orion V2 Slim, accommodating a full-sized lit log set crafted from real split wood for an authentic, dimensional hearth appearance from any viewing angle. The wider size range also makes the Multi a natural fit for grand-scale projects — from expansive living room feature walls and open-plan room dividers to covered outdoor entertaining spaces. Every model is approved for both indoor and outdoor use. Powered by the same next-generation LCD flame platform as the rest of the Orion V2 series, the Multi delivers 24 flame options, adaptive brightness, immersive built-in audio with Bluetooth streaming, advanced PTC ceramic heating up to 10,000 BTU, and full smart control through the Modern Flames + app — including over-the-air flame updates that keep your fireplace evolving long after installation. Designed and engineered by Modern Flames in Phoenix, Arizona. Removable side panels let you configure the unit to match your specific space and design vision. Install it as a front-facing single-sided fireplace for a clean, linear look. Remove one side panel for a two-sided corner configuration (available in left or right orientation) that wraps flames around a wall edge. Or remove both panels for a stunning three-sided bay installation that showcases fire from three directions — ideal for room dividers, peninsula walls, and open-concept floor plans where the fireplace is visible from multiple areas. Deeper Firebox for a Full-Sized Log Set Unlike the Orion V2 Slim, the Multi features a deeper 9-9/16" firebox specifically designed to accommodate a full-sized lit log set. This added depth creates a more substantial, dimensional firebox appearance — especially important for multi-sided configurations where the fireplace interior is visible from side angles. The result is a more authentic hearth presentation that holds up to scrutiny from every viewing direction. Next-Generation Virtual LCD Flame Technology The Orion V2 Multi uses the same upgraded LCD display system found across the entire Orion V2 platform, producing multi-dimensional virtual flames with fluid movement, rich color depth, and lifelike behavior. Improved contrast ratios and deeper blacks make the flames appear more vivid and natural. A mirrored background adds layered depth to the flame display, while tinted front glass reduces glare and creates a cleaner, more realistic viewing experience — whether you're looking at the fire head-on or from the side. 24 Flame Options with Over-the-Air Updates Right out of the box, you get access to 24 distinct flame styles spanning a wide range of colors and moods. Three standard multi-dimensional flame styles are permanently loaded, and a fourth slot can be swapped with new options downloaded through the Modern Flames + app. New flame designs and digital scenes are added to the library regularly, ensuring your multi-sided electric fireplace continues to evolve long after installation. Adaptive Brightness for Any Lighting Condition An intelligent brightness system detects the ambient light level in your room and automatically adjusts the flame display intensity. During the day, flames remain bold and visible against natural sunlight. In the evening, brightness softens for a natural, relaxed glow. This is especially valuable in open-concept spaces where the fireplace is visible from areas with different lighting conditions simultaneously. Immersive Built-In Audio System Custom-engineered speakers deliver rich sound quality that matches the visual realism of the flames. Three professionally produced crackling soundscapes — Classic Crackling, Starry Night, and Stormy Night — recreate the warmth and ambiance of a real wood fire. Bluetooth connectivity lets you stream your own music, podcasts, or ambient playlists directly through the fireplace speakers, turning the Orion V2 Multi into a dual-purpose audio and visual centerpiece. Realistic Lit Log Set, Active Ember Bed, and Multi-Color Downlighting The Orion V2 Multi includes a highly realistic lit log set crafted from real split wood, with internal lighting that casts a warm, natural glow visible from every side. Beneath the logs, an active ember bed with 5-3/16" depth adds glowing movement and vivid color. Multi-color downlighting further highlights the log detail, adding character and dimension to the overall display. The combination of lit logs, active embers, and layered downlights creates a firebox presentation with exceptional depth — critical for a fireplace designed to be viewed from multiple angles. Powerful PTC Ceramic Heating — Up to 10,000 BTU The Orion V2 Multi features the most powerful heater in the Orion V2 lineup. Advanced PTC ceramic heating technology delivers 5,000-10,000 BTU of fast, consistent, quiet warmth — enough to heat spaces up to approximately 800 sq. ft. Dual 120V/240V voltage capability ensures the unit can be configured for optimal heating performance in any installation. The heater operates independently of the flame display, so you can enjoy the fire's ambiance year-round, with or without heat. Smart App, Remote, and Voice Control Control every aspect of the Orion V2 Multi from the included premium remote, the Modern Flames + app (available for iOS and Android), or through voice commands with Alexa and Google Home smart home integration. Adjust flame style, speed, and color; select crackling sound modes; fine-tune brightness; manage heat settings; set timers; and download new flame themes — all from your phone, your couch, or across the room. Installation Options: Built-In or Wall-Mounted The Orion V2 Multi installs as a built-in clean face for a seamless, flush-to-wall presentation. Rough opening dimensions accommodate both fully recessed and three-sided/bay framing configurations. For a wall-mounted option, the unit pairs with the optional Studio Suites Mantel system to create a complete floating mantel presentation without building a recessed wall cavity. Every model comes with a 120V plug for simple plug-in operation and is also hardwire-ready for a cleaner finished installation.
