Hebrew Inscribed Bamboo Matzah Box

On Pesach, we have many exciting, long-standing traditions that we observe, including conducting the seder and eating different ritual foods, one of which is matza (unleavened bread). We have the tradition to eat the matzah because when the Jewish people were exiled out of Egypt, they didn't even have enough time to bake bread for their journey. The mere 18 minutes that they had available to them only allowed them to bake matzah. In commemoration of the hardships that our ancestors experienced all those years ago, we now eat matzah for the 8 days of Pesach. With this annual tradition in place thousands of years later, we all have lots of matzah in our homes at this time of the year!! Our beautiful flat matzah box engraved with words and phrases associated with Pesach is the perfect place to store your matzah. It is also the perfect gift to give family or friends to celebrate this joyous chag/ Jewish holiday. It makes for a gift that is both stylish and practical. The inside of the box is engraved with lots of different words that are we use on Pesach or words that are directly related to Pesach. Dots have been strategically placed in between the words or phrases to symbolize the little holes that we find in the matzah. Some of the words that are common on Passover are: פסח (Pesach); מצות (Matzahs / unleavened bread); סדר הגדה של פסח (The order of the Pesach Seder); יציאת מצרים (The Exodus from Egypt) and מה נשתנה הלילה הזה (Why is this night different from all other nights?) On the four outer sides of the box, you will find a beautiful inscription directly related to Pesach. It reads as follows: מצה זו שאנו אוכלים על שום מה, על שום שלא הספיק בצקם של אבותינו להחמיץ עד שנגלה עליהם מלך מלכי המלכים הקדוש ברוך הוא וגאלם. שנאמר: ויאפו את הבצק אשר הוציאו ממצרים עגת מצות כי לא חמץ כי גרשו ממצרים ולא יכלו להתמהמה וגם צדה לא עשו להם Which translates to: "This unleavened bread that we eat, what does it signify? Because the dough of our fathers did not have time to leaven before The King of Kings, Blessed be He, revealed himself to them and redeemed them. As it said: And they baked unleavened bread from the dough which they brought out of Egypt. For it was not leavened, because thy were driven out of Egypt and could not delay; for neither had they prepared themselves any food for their journey". ♡ Dimensions: ✓ 2" x 8.5" x 8.5" / 5cm x 21.8cm x 21.5cm (unpackaged) ♡ The Details: ✓ This Product is made out of natural bamboo wood ✓ The bamboo matzah box is food-safe ✓ Designed in Israel ♡ Care Instructions: ✓ Wipe down the bamboo matzah box with a moist cloth
