Model 1 Spirited Saddle

The Model 1 is built for the drop-bar devotee or the rider who finds their rhythm in an aggressive, forward-leaning position. When your handlebars sit lower than your saddle, your weight shifts toward the front of the bike, requiring a narrower, more athletic silhouette. We designed the Model 1 with a tapered profile to provide unrestricted leg movement and clear the way for a high-cadence pedal strokes, all while offering a solid foundation for high-speed efforts. There is no saddle quite like your own leather saddle. High-quality leather is a living material that breathes, yields, and evolves. Over the first few hundred miles, the leather begins to "learn" your specific anatomy, stretching and softening exactly where you need it to. The result is a custom-molded fit that no foam or gel can replicate—a saddle that is uniquely yours and only improves with age and care. The Model 1 construction is made for the long haul. We use hammered rivets across the rear frame, anchored with copper inserts. This isn’t just a nod to a classic aesthetic; it’s a mechanical bond designed to handle the high tension of the leather as it breaks in, ensuring the cover stays secure through years of sun, rain, and sweat. Whether you’re finishing a vintage steel racer, aggro fixed gear, or a modern performance road build, the Model 1 delivers a refined, stable foundation that turns the most aggressive miles into a smooth, connected experience.
