Mock Honeycomb with Purl Stitch Pattern

Something textured, something fun, something you can use to make a mermaid blanket. It's the Mock Honeycomb with Purls stitch pattern also known as the Mermaid Stitch.  And yes, there is one without purls that looks different but I wanted the purl version to keep the fabric flat and more textured because you can never have too much, never, ever. One thing for sure it is not reversible, at all. See the pic below. It barely shows anything but I feel that the front side is so cool that I don't mind the back side.  Flat and in the Round Version of the Stitch Pattern - Not a full project.
