Mizuno Pro S-4 Custom Fit Irons

Mizuno Pro S-4 Irons Classic Mizuno Forged Feel with More Launch, Stability, and Forgiveness. The Mizuno Pro S-4 Irons are designed for accomplished golfers who want the unmistakable feel and precision of a traditional forged Mizuno iron with added confidence throughout the set. A redesigned curved muscle places more mass lower in the head, helping the S-4 launch easier and remain more stable without sacrificing the control and workability expected from the Mizuno Pro family. Each S-4 head is Grain Flow Forged HD in Hiroshima, Japan from a single billet of 1025E Mild Carbon Steel. Mizuno pairs that construction with a copper underlay and Harmonic Impact Technology to create the soft, responsive impact sensation that has long separated Mizuno’s forged irons from the crowd. Progressive head geometry adds offset, sole width, and a deeper center of gravity where needed to make the longer irons easier to launch and more forgiving. A Triple Cut Sole with beveled leading and trailing edges improves movement through the turf, giving the S-4 a surprisingly playable design while retaining its clean Mizuno Pro appearance. Basically, Mizuno took the traditional forged players iron and admitted that even good golfers occasionally appreciate a little help. Sensible behavior has finally reached the equipment industry. Key Features Grain Flow Forged HD Construction Forged in Hiroshima, Japan from a single billet of 1025E Mild Carbon Steel for exceptional feel, feedback, and consistency. Redesigned Curved Muscle Concentrates mass lower in the head to promote higher launch, greater stability, and additional forgiveness while maintaining a classic Mizuno Pro profile. Copper Underlay A copper layer beneath the outer finish further enhances the soft, responsive impact feel associated with Mizuno Pro irons. Harmonic Impact Technology Precisely tuned vibration characteristics create a solid, refined sensation at impact and provide the feedback accomplished ball strikers expect. Progressive Head Geometry Progressive offset, a wider sole, and deeper center of gravity provide additional confidence and easier launch while preserving precision throughout the set. Triple Cut Sole Beveled leading and trailing edges improve turf interaction, allowing the club to enter and exit the ground more efficiently through impact. Traditional Players Performance Combines workability and precise distance control with more forgiveness than a traditional compact forged iron. Who It’s For The Mizuno Pro S-4 Irons are ideal for accomplished golfers who appreciate the feel, feedback, and control of a one-piece forged iron but want more forgiveness and easier launch than a traditional players design. They are particularly well suited for golfers who prefer a classic profile but don’t want to give up stability on slight mishits or fight their longer irons to produce enough height. The progressive design provides additional help where it’s most useful while maintaining the precision and shotmaking capability skilled players expect in the scoring clubs. For golfers who love the traditional Mizuno forged experience but want a little more confidence throughout the bag, the S-4 strikes an appealing balance between players-iron precision and modern playability.
