Fall Chicory & Radicchio Box

***Products Ship On Mondays & Wednesdays*** This special fall box brings together the bold, beautiful flavors of Italy’s most treasured greens — freshly harvested from our fields and shipped directly to you. Each box includes ~5 lbs of assorted chicories and radicchios, a seasonal mix that may feature Puntarelle, Escarole, Treviso, Indigo, Castelfranco, Frisée, Sugarloaf, and other varieties depending on the week’s harvest. Chicories are beloved for their striking colors, crunchy texture, and balance of bitterness and sweetness. From deep burgundy leaves to speckled and frilly heads, each type has its own character: some tender and delicate, others crisp and hearty. Flavor & Use: Chicories shine in fall and winter cooking. Their pleasant bitterness brings depth and complexity to salads, roasts, braises, and sautés. Toss raw leaves with citrus and olive oil for a bright, refreshing salad, or grill and roast them to bring out sweetness and a subtle smokiness. They pair beautifully with nuts, cheeses, citrus, anchovy, and hearty grains. Whether you’re a longtime radicchio lover or curious to explore, this box is a colorful, flavorful invitation to cook with one of the most exciting families of greens.
