All of the above indoor units require two replacement air filters. Maintenance & Care: The Mitsubishi E22N87100 is a reusable plastic woven mesh anti-mold prefilter. Mitsubishi OEM washable prefilters can be washed with water and a mild detergent and reused. The filter should be cleaned every two weeks, and for best performance, it should be replaced every 12 months.
