Mist Coolant System

Mist Coolant System for Radial Arm Saws and Beam Saws The Mist Coolant System from Original Saw Company is essential when cutting non-ferrous materials such as aluminum, brass, copper, and plastics. This system is designed to improve cutting quality and extend tool life by providing essential lubrication and cooling. It’s necessary for all Metal Cutting Super Duty Radial Arm Saws and Beam Saws when working with non-ferrous materials. Key Features of the Mist Coolant System Three-Part System: Includes a 7″ flexible plastic nozzle, plastic tank, and mounting bracket. Variable Spray Control: Independent air and coolant controls allow for adjustable spray delivery to suit your cutting needs. Siphon Delivery System: Ensures even and efficient lubrication during cutting operations. Compressed Air Requirement: The system requires compressed air. Pneumatic Clamping System Compatibility: When paired with a Pneumatic Clamping System, the operator controls the Mist Coolant System via the switch on the tripod. Benefits of the Mist Coolant System Heat Reduction: Dissipates heat generated during cutting, preventing overheating of the material and blade. This reduces wear and tear, extending the life of your saw blades and improving machining accuracy. Chip Evacuation: Lubricates the cutting surface to facilitate efficient chip removal, minimizing interference with the cutting process and reducing the risk of damage to your saw. Improved Surface Finish: Reduces friction between the blade and material, resulting in smoother cuts with less surface roughness or burrs. Extended Tool Life: Protects saw blades and tools by reducing heat and friction, saving money on replacements. Reduction in Built-Up Edge (BUE): Prevents material adhesion to the cutting tool, resulting in consistent and reliable performance. Dimensional Accuracy: Maintains a stable temperature during cutting to reduce heat-related distortion and ensure precise cuts. Application Tips Proper Concentration: Use the correct coolant concentration for effective cooling and lubrication. Adequate Coverage: Position the nozzle for uniform coverage of the blade and material. Regular Maintenance: Monitor the coolant flow rate, concentration, and nozzle condition. Clean or replace clogged nozzles as needed. Environmental Compliance: Dispose of used coolant by local regulations to minimize environmental impact. Why Choose the Mist Coolant System? With its ability to reduce heat, improve cutting precision, and extend tool life, the Mist Coolant System is a must-have for machinists and manufacturers cutting non-ferrous materials. Its seamless integration with Original Saw Company’s Metal Cutting Super Duty Series and Beam Saws ensures optimal performance for demanding applications.
