Missouri River - Summer Fly Box

The Missouri River Summer Fly Box is hand-curated specifically for the conditions, hatches, and trout behavior you'll encounter on the Missouri from June through August. Summer on the Missouri is world-class. The PMD hatch draws anglers from across the country, and caddis activity in the evenings adds another layer to an already rich season.   This box is built around the Missouri's summer hatch calendar — PMDs, caddis, tricos, and pale evening duns. Every fly was chosen with dry fly fishing with precise presentations in mind, giving you exactly what you need to match what the fish are eating at this time of year.   What's in the box: 36 flies total — 18 unique patterns, 2 of each — covering PMD dries and emergers, caddis patterns, trico spinners, and soft hackles. No filler. No patterns that don't belong on this river in this season.   Pro tip from the water: The PMD hatch runs June through August. Fish size 16-18 patterns and be prepared for selective, educated trout — presentation is everything on the Mo.   Whether you're making your first trip to the Missouri or you fish it every season, this box gives you a proven starting lineup so you can spend more time fishing and less time digging through bins at the fly shop.   Includes a quality waterproof fly box. All flies are hand-tied to Bozeman FlyWorks standards — the same quality we'd put on our own lines.
